01 / SERVICE SCOPE
Define control behaviour and operator information.
Our automation scope covers instrumentation, industrial networking and machine upgrades as well as control software. For existing equipment, controller identification, program availability and interfaces determine what can be reviewed and changed.
01PLC sequences and machine upgrades
Describe the current sequence, the required change and how the machine interacts with surrounding equipment. Input and output lists, electrical drawings and available program backups help establish the work and the testing needed before returning equipment to production.
02HMI screens and SCADA integration
Define operator commands, status displays, alarms and the process information required. Existing interfaces and communication requirements help determine how HMI development or SCADA integration should fit the current control system.
03Field signals, networks and control panels
Include instruments, signal types, controller connections and control-panel requirements in the brief. Networking and equipment compatibility need to be assessed for the actual installation. Safety-related functions require a separately defined and reviewed scope.
03 / PROJECT QUESTIONS
Before we start.
Practical information for planning your plc, hmi & scada enquiry.
Can an existing PLC-controlled machine be upgraded?
ARES reviews machine upgrade requirements as part of its automation service. Feasibility depends on the controller, available program and drawings, connected equipment and the change required. Provide those details before agreeing the upgrade and commissioning scope.
Can PLC programming be scoped with HMI or SCADA work?
Yes. ARES's profile includes PLC programming, HMI development and SCADA integration. A shared brief helps align the control sequence, operator information, instrumentation and communication requirements.
